Webinar (equivalent to 2 hours of lessons)

Techniques to identify target journals that match with the author’s goals (for grant output or functional promotion requirements) and Journal writing techniques (equivalent to 2 hours of lessons) according to publication principles and ethics

Assistance Process

  • Option 1: unlimited until the article is submitted; Option 2: unlimited until the article is accepted
  • For individual consultation, the participant should confirm the consultation schedule 48 hours before the scheduling time via Google Form and upload the article progress
  • Direct consultation will be conducted every Thursday and Friday, divided into two sessions: a) Morning session at 10.00-11.00; b) Afternoon session at 16.00-17.00 – (Daily quota: 4 participants)
  • Consultation will be conducted via e-mail and WhatsApp – expected feedback in 4-5 days
  • Review articles before submitting (Technique, Format, Similarity, and Substance)

Assistance Subject (equivalent to 22 hours of lessons)

  1. Publication ethics (avoiding predatory, fake, discontinued, and potential discontinued journals, author contributions, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, double submission, and other ethical violations)
  2. Strategy to identify the target journals according to the author’s goals and needs
  3. Determine the reserve journal (as backup if the article is rejected)
  4. Publication tips and strategies
  5. Format the article structure according to the target journal requirements/GFA (editing template)
  6. Review of techniques (adjusted with the target journal requirements/GFA)

  7. Review the substance of the article (we will find a suitable reviewer to review the substance of the article)
  8. Evaluate and improve similarity results (Plagiarism and Data Presentation) by re-reading and synthesizing techniques (not paraphrasing and/or using software)
  9. Submit to the target journal
  10. Tips to response the reviewer(s)’ review
  11. Re-assistance (if the article is rejected)

Process (that should be done) by participants

  1. Translate the article to English
  2. Article proofreading (professional proofreading is recommended)
  3. Create graphical abstract (if the target journal requires it)
  4. Improve the article before submitting and post-submitting
  5. Independent practices
