Journal of Environmental Science and Sustainable Development/JESSD is a biannually refereed journal that serves as a space for scholars and practitioners to reflect, explore, and exchange ideas on a broad range of issues relevant to environmental science and sustainable development. The aim of JESSD is to advance scientific knowledge and understanding of the theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of environmental science and sustainable development. JESSD is managed as a free open access journal and published by the School of Environmental Science, Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta.
This year, JESSD is proud to hold its second virtual international symposium. The previous symposium has been held in September 28 to 30, 2020 that present 260 articles from 23 countries. For The second International Symposium of Earth, Energy, Environmental Science, and Sustainable Development will feature world-class speakers and editors worldwide, such as the USA, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Indonesia. This event covers numerous subjects ranging from the broad earth science, energy, and environmental science, to more specific topics on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and Community Engagement for Better Environment. This symposium invites all interested national (approximately 50% or more from the total of participants) and international experts as well as enthusiasts from universities, institutions, organizations, businesses, and related communities themselves. We gladly announce that our first virtual symposium will be held from 25 to 26 September 2021.
